The majority of people are taking the Colts to kill the Jets this
week but you have to consider how well New York matches up against
Indy. Indy has the worst running game in the league, and is ALL
Peyton. The Jets have the #1 pass-defence and if they can put the
clamps on Peyton early… it could very well be a Jets win. TheCoach
isn’t calling a J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS win but they will cover the
spread. I know Indy shut down Baltimore’s running game last week
but the Jets strive on being quick and elusive.. something Ray Rice
isn’t…

Minnesota and New Orleans is going to be such a good game. I was
hoping all season long these two would meet up in the NFC
Championship and honestly.. either team could team this game. The
Saints are -3.0 favourites and historically home team get given three
points for the home-field advantage… so basically this game is a
pick-em and there is ONE thing that I like about the Saints and its
that home-field advantage. Last week Warner and Romo combined for 7
sacks and 4 fumbles largely in part to not being able to communicate
with their offence. The SuperDome is NUTS and I don’t care how much
experience Favre has, the crowd can help a team and also hurt the
other so much.

Well, Sharapova is out, although I never considered her a serious threat. My money is on Venus Williams to take defend her title, (although many won’t bet http://cli.gs/nrBuEt). It will be great for the game if Clijsters and Henin start reaching their former heights again – the women’s field has been full of such unreliable performers in recent years!

Yes, Andy Murray http://www.vtennis.co.uk/Andy-Murray.htm is playing very well currently and looking forward to the potential clashes between Federer, Nadal and Murray at this year’s US Open. On the Women’s side looking forward to the returning Kim Clijsters from early retirement and Maria Sharapova http://www.vtennis.co.uk/Maria-Sharapova.htm form 8 months shoulder injury.

I think Denver could surprise, but I don’t see anybody but San Diego winning the division. They’ve got Merriman back, which will really help their defense, and their offense will be one of the best in the league. If the Chargers don’t win the division, Norv Turner best be packing up his belongings the second the season ends.

Some very nice picks… The NCAA tournament is playing out very nicely with favorites winning the games (although not covering spreads in all cases… but those teasers and moneyline picks were very smart bets.

Interesting article. Federer tends to play best at major tournments. Remember he beat Djokovic and Murray at the US open last year. So I fancy his chances against Murray although he’s half a step slower. But to beat Nadal is another matter. His record agaist him is pathetic to say the least. The Nadal bug is in his system and the very thought of Nadal sends shivers down his spine. Can Cahill kill the bug is the question!!
We shall wait and see.
