EVERTON
Everton have won their last five at Goodison Park, Moyes is enthusiast of the team’s performance against Chelsea and Manchester Utd (2 wins) “It was a great result and you don’t beat the big teams that often so we are delighted. I have said for a while on our day we can be a match for the teams above. We have not got everyone fit but I think it shows the spirit we have got. I think we can play better and I think we will.”
Everton midfielder Tim Cahill is still to return to training after suffering a calf injury two weeks ago but has not been ruled out by manager David Moyes.
Phil Jagielka, recently returned from a long-term knee injury, is doubtful due to a slight thigh strain, as is Leon Osman after a blow to the foot.
Top scorer Louis Saha (hamstring) is again ruled out and James Vaughan will be assessed after suffering a knock playing for the reserves in midweek. In defence, Philippe Senderos (hip) is hoping to prove his fitness but Tony Hibbert (groin) is still out. Marouane Fellaini (ankle) will miss the rest of the season.

HULL CITY
Hull City have yet to win away from home this season taking just four points from 14 matches. There will be a lot pressure on players to get results here as there’s a little chance if they take advantage of the many outfit and missing players on the Everton side.
Hull manager Phil Brown has revealed Jimmy Bullard could start.
The midfielder, who has been sidelined with a knee injury since December, was left out of the squad for the defeat against West Ham United two weeks ago but has since played for the reserves and in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Doncaster this week.
Geovanni (knee) is fit but Anthony Gardner is facing six weeks on the sidelines with an ankle problem while Stephen Hunt and Dean Marney are doubts.
Craig Fagan will definitely miss the match following his red card against the Hammers.

10/01/2009 Everton 2 – 0 Hull City
VERDICT
On the paper is an easy bet on Everton. But as Hull won’t have anything to lose on this match they will start aggressively and could cause some trouble on Everton with many outfit and injured players. It’s all about who’s going to score first: Hull will defend the result desperately while an Everton goal will mentally break down Hull.
Take Everton to win but also consider a high probability of a draw…

FULHAM
Good sequence of games for Fulham at Craven Cottage, where they have one of the best defence with just 8 goals conceeded in 13 games.
“I thought the victory lay in the hard work and the quality of our defending. We gave them very little time and space to play and we used the ball wisely. We got everything right tonight – the defending and attacking – and on a night like that, we would have been a tough nut to crack for any team.” Hodgson said after a great 3-0 against Burnley last week.
Paul Konchesky could figure on the bench after recovering from a foot injury, but long-term casualties Kagisho Dikgacoi (ankle), Andrew Johnson, Clint Dempsey and John Pantsil (all knee) are out.

BIRMINGHAM
After showing an impressive form with 15 games without defeat they lost the last 2 away games and conceeded 5 goals.
The other games weren’t better, even the victory over Wolves (recovering from a 1-0) or a lucky draw against Tottenham.
Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has no fresh injury worries.

03/05/2008 Fulham 2-0 Birmingham
VERDICT
Craven Cottage is not an easy place to visit: Everton, Man utd and Liverpool couldn’t go home with a victory.
Considering the strenght of Fulham’s defence at home and the lack of form of Birmingham I would say take Fulham to win. The odds are quite high so it worth the risk.

HULL CITY
Hull, who missed a chance to move out of the bottom three, twice led, firstly through an early Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink effort and then a penalty from Wolves target Stephen Hunt.
“Defensively the lapses have to stop. We have to minimise the mistakes we’re making. Having gone in front twice I’m the more disappointed manager I would imagine.” – Brown
Hull forward Geovanni will be unavailable to face his former team after suffering a minor medial ligament problem.
Nigeria midfielder Seyi Olofinjana is available after returning from the African Nations Cup while Jimmy Bullard remains around three weeks away from action after a knee problem.

MANCHESTER CITY
The Blues moved to within a point of fourth spot despite a less than convincing performance that was still enough to overcome Portsmouth, who tried hard enough but were too limited to have any impact.
“We were a little tired after Wednesday’s match against Manchester United. In the first half we did not play well, we did not move the ball quickly and were too slow when we lost possession.” – Mancini
Vincent Kompany and Micah Richards both look certain to miss out as Wayne Bridge makes his long-awaited comeback.
Patrick Vieira is set to make his debut after arriving from Inter Milan last month with a calf injury, while fellow new arrival Adam Johnson should also be involved and Joleon Lescott (knee) is fit enough to take a place on the bench.

16/11/2008 Hull 2-2 Man City
VERDICT
Hull’s ability to manage to draw against Chelsea and Wolves (nearly a victory) need to be considered, the away form of Manchester City is not impressive and the not impressive performance with a modest Portsmouth give even more doubts on the result.
If we consider only the statistic numbers we’d say Man City to win. But a draw won’t be a surprise here

SUNDERLAND
The last game goals from Cahill and Donovan secured a comfortable 2-0 win at Goodison Park and extended Sunderland’s miserable run.
The team show a very poor form and lack of results. The manager Steve Bruce facing an anxious wait over a series of players.
Bruce is keeping his fingers crossed that Lee Cattermole (back injury and illness), Phil Bardsley (hamstring) and Michael Turner (knee) could resume training over the weekend.
Kieran Richardson (calf) is unlikely to be available, while Anton Ferdinand (ankle) has yet to return to training, but John Mensah and Boudewijn Zenden have suffered no reaction following their respective returns.

STOKE CITY
Great result against liverpool, the manager Pulis said: “I think it was a fair result. It was scrappy but fair play to Liverpool who were really dogged and really got about us. The important time was going to be the last half an hour when we were attacking towards our supporters and it is very hard to defend (against us).”
Captain Abdoulaye Faye returned to training this week after missing Sunday’s 3-1 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup with a calf injury.

BOLTON
A new manager for Bolton, Owen Coyle will take guide the team for the rest of the season. With 18 points the team is sitting on the relegation area.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle expects Kevin Davies and Mark Davies to come into contention for his first match in charge.
Both players are back in training after being laid low with a virus that has hit the club.
Bolton, unbeaten in four matches, will again be without long-term injury absentees Joey O’Brien and Sean Davis.
ARSENAL
Substitute Tomas Rosicky snatched a crucial point for Barclays Premier League title chasers Arsenal, who needed two deflected goals to earn a point against an impressive Everton side at a snowy Emirates Stadium.
“Everton stopped us playing. We did not find our flow. They were sharp and played very well and it was closer to 3-1 than 2-2 but in the end our spirit got us back. We have outstanding spirit and kept going to the end.” – Wenger
Captain Cesc Fabregas returns to the Arsenal side for the match at Bolton on Sunday following the hamstring strain he suffered against Aston Villa two weeks ago.
Denilson misses the trip to the Reebok stadium with an abdominal muscle injury while striker Nicklas Bendtner (groin)is still a fortnight away from full fitness.
Fullback Gael Clichy is available again and is set to start from the bench, having recovered from his back injury, but new signing Sol Campbell is not in the squad.

20/09/08 Bolton 1 – 3 Arsenal
VERDICT
We’re expecting lot of goals as they both are offensive team, but with a key player like Fabregas back in shape it will be hard for Bolton to win this match
