Polish representation is passing big crisis – weak results, which destroyed hopes for departure to RPA 2010 result in Leo Beenhakker being fired. New temporary coach has become Stefan Majewski, which as a coach doesn’t have any success. His main trump is having “big” friends in PZPN – this is the only reason why Majewski is new temporary coach.
Polish team is mainly composed of players inexperienced in national game (Pawelec, Rzezniczak, Bieniuk, Kokoszka, Peszko, Janczyk, Grosicki, Polczak), having under 10 game in Polish squad. Goalkeepers plus defenders are all new players. Central defender Bieniuk plays in Polish second league and with much weaker players. Midfield and forward are better than defensive, but we can see important players such as Blaszczykowski, Roger, Lewandowski are not in the best form. Polish team is very weak at this time, having time to rebuild itself – point in this game is not important in fact.
Slovakian team lost to Slovenia and they need a win to finish on first place. I believe they will be strongly motivated and victory is very possible here. Poland will stay on 5th place because even if they win and N. Ireland lose they have worst h2h with them. Nobody care about polish national team and thisi is not good to win in such cirumstances. Slovakia want to get something here and with full concentration they will come to get a win and qualified to WC 2010 for the first time in their history.
I will go for a Slovakia victory here.
