NFL Weekend leans
The Nfl kicks off toniught with a very good game and I am sizing up some lines and leans right now. Wagering in the NFL is always about line moves and getting a good number because the lines makers are the sharpest in Pro football. Here are some leans for the weekend you may want to look at and get in on before the line moves against you.
Philadelphia (-2.5) @ Carolina (+2.5)
I hate wagering against the Panthers but I am leaning that way right now, they really have not made the changes they need to make their offense as potent as their defense and now Philly has two great quarterbacks ready to take the field and Carolina is lucky to have their starter show up every game. Forget all the mess surrounding Vick, this Philadelphia team looks really good, especially if they get Mcnabb playing like he is capable of playing. I have to lean with Philly int his one.
Lean : Philadelphia
Minnesota (-4.0) @ Cleveland (+4.0)
this one is simple,i still think Brett favre is one of the best quarterbacks in the game when he is rested and not injured and you have the best running back in the game and one of the best defenses in the league and on the other side you have the Cleveland Browns.
Strong lean: Minnesota -4.5
N.Y. Jets (+4.5) @ Houston (-4.5)
No way am I taking a rookie quarterback against a good d like the Texans. I would highly recommend buying a point and a half and get this game down to a field goal as the Texans lack firepower as well. The Jets won’t win 8 games this year but I hope I am wrong.

Chicago (+3.5) @ Green Bay (-3.0)
I love the bears this year with Cutler and I think Green bays decision to get rid of Favre and not pursue a Randy Moss or someone of that caliber must rank as one of the worst decisions in pro football history . Last year they looked horrid and I dont see any reason they are going to turn it around this year. Best pick of the weekend it looks like to me.
