Kickoff time
Alright gentleman, if you are a gambler this is the greatest time of the year. I absolutely love Saturday mornings as I analyze the stats, scan the forums, look up statfox, covers, and look for trends. This is it boys, gambling is really fun again. I am going to post my record here for the year and I hope more people will follow my picks on the forums, facebook, twitter and stop by wagering-sports.com and leave some comments. This site really plans on being alot of fun this football season so lets have a great year.
My record has been really good so far and I plan on tearing up the contests this year as I won a little change last year. Hope everyone enjoys following and we make some money like we did last season. Here is a quick look at my record so far and as you can see its been pretty profitable, + even wagers are the way to go and what you should hope to achieve even if it means parlaying some wagers. As you can tell my parlays are 12-12 but I am up over 195$ because of the + even wagers. i am going to stick with straight bets today in football and tennis until I get a better read on what teams are going to do and in tennis I love my pick today.

Minnesota (-6.5) over Syracuse (Noon, Saturday, Sept. 5)
I love this game and I think this is one of the best picks of the day. The Golden Gophers are one of the most experienced teams in the country and should be able to roll over a Syracuse team that is struggling to find its feet. Syracuse has a new coach and a whole new system that they are working on and they are just 2-7 ATS in nonconference games and 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 home games. Minnesota is 6-1 ATS on the road. Virginia Tech versus Alabama (Saturday 9/5 8:00 PM ABC)
Defense will the the name of the game and I like griffdofgs pick but I am going to have to go with bama on this one but this is a great game for an under pick. With both teams flexing their fantastic on defense Alabama may have a tough time covering but I just think they are the better team. Alot of points to give Va Tech on a neutral field Saturday night. Alabama should win this game but look out for the Hokies as they can easily win this game on defense and special teams. Virginia Tech is 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games as an underdog so beware of this game

Colorado -10 ½ over Colorado St (Sunday 9/6 7:00 PM FSN)
Since this game is being played in Boulder and not Denver we should see the home team taking advantage of this instate rivalry. What a shock that Colorado State is starting yet another season with an inexperienced QB. Colorado St is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games

Baylor at Wake Forest (Saturday 9/05 3:30 PM Eastern)
A rematch of last years opener won by Wake 41-13, although that was Art Briles’ first game at
Baylor and Robert Griffin had yet to come into his own Bears. Wake forest has Riley Skinner returning at QB with an offense that has nine starters returning.

Robin Soderling vs. Sam Querrey
I love Soderling here for one of my biggest bets of the tennis year.He will be fresh after only playing 2 games in his last match (Granollers retired @ 0-2) and the head to head is a big plus. Querrey has the home crowd but he may be tired, will Querrey make 5 sets as he will surely be more exhausted (he looked it in his last match) than Soderling given his heavy US hard court schedule leading up to this event. Faster conditions suit Soderling down to a T and if he’s up for it and firing on all cylinders I can see him blowing Querrey away here in 3-4 sets.
