Home team trends in Baseball and a WNBA prediction
Summer is here and as anyone who has wagered on baseball quickly realizes, baseball is all about finding value. If you get in the habit of laying -160 and over in juice you are going to have a hard time making money. In my handicapping I like to look at alot of things but I always take into account the stadium for straight wagers and over/ unders. I have compiled a list of some interesting trends in home teams in baseball so take a look and save this page for future use. I promise you it will come in handy one day.
1. LA Dodgers
The Dodgers have been one of the surprise teams this year even without Manny Ramirez in the lineup. They have compiled a 18-6 at Dodger Stadium – the best in the major leagues. Also keep an eye out for high scoring games, The over is 10-3-2 in the last 15 games at Dodger Stadium.
2. Washington Nationals

Home teams are usually favored like in last night Nationals/Mets game and its a great way to make money fading the dismal Nationals. I have not updated my stats since I compiled this list but you can add a few more losses to the nationals 7-16 record at home.
3.San Diego Padres
This enormous park is great for unders, and until there recent losing streak San Diego has been quite good at home.
4.Toronto Blue Jays
Another surprising team this year,they have been fantastic at home. They were actually plus money last night against the Royals because of their losing streak and Greinke on the mound but came through with an easy win. Watch out for opportunities to catch the Blue Jays at home.
5.San Francisco Giants
This is actually a very good team at home. I have been to this ballpark numerous times and it really is a fun place to watch a game. The Giants are money at home this year.
Finally as summer arrives and gambling opportunities slow down, I find other ways to get some action. The WNBA has been a great way to make money, even if you dont like the sometimes erratic shooting you can still make alot of money on over/unders. I like the LA sparks -5 today, the LA Sparks are 5-1 ats last 6 in this series played in LA. La was 9-1 is also ats in their last 10 games at home.
