There have been many World Cup qualifying games in the past couple of weeks and there are new futures out to who will win the World Cup in South Africa next summer.

Here are some of the favorites to win next summer at one of the leading sportsbooks.

Brazil and Spain are both posted at +450 to win the 2010 World Cup.

Brazil currently leads the South American group and they have not lost in their last 9 qualifying games. While they have not yet qualified for last summer, barring a major meltdown they will make it to South Africa. It is hard not to bet on Brazil, as they have a stacked lineup including stars such as goalie Julio Cesar, Kaka, Robinho, and Daniel Alves.

Spain is the top ranked team in the world according to FIFA rankings and the won the European Championships last summer. They are running away in their World Cup qualifying leading the 2nd place team by 6 points. Like Brazil, Spain also is stacked with stars such as David Silva, Xavi, and Fernando Torres, who is one of the best young strikers in the world. In the past Spain was seen as a team that could not come through in the clutch, but with the Euro 2008 win they got that monkey off their back and they are heading to South Africa with a ton of confidence.

Argentina (+550) is currently in 4th place in the South America World Cup qualifying group and even though they are coming off a loss it is hard to imagine them not making it to South Africa. They have a star-studded team with studs such as Lionel Messi, Javier Zanetti, and Carlos Tavez.

England (+700) has not placed well in the last few World Cups, but they will make a run in South Africa. They have a great offense led by Wayne Rooney, but there are concerns on defense.

Italy (+1100) are the defending World Cup champions and they are currently in 1st place in their qualifying group. There will be many new players on this team, but they still have Gianluigi Buffon in goal, so they will always have a chance.

Germany (+1100) and Holland (+1200) are leading their qualifying groups and they should make it to South Africa and each has a legit shot to win the World Cup. France (+2000) has not played well in their group, but they still are in 2nd place and FIFA has them ranked 10th in the world.
