Day 2 NCAA TOURNAMENT
I had a great day yesterday with my posted picks. I went 4-1 and won 91 dollars. I actually had a better day because I actually went 7-1 but I didn’t get around to post my other picks on this site so I am going to only track the picks posted on here and not all the ones I do the forums. One thing that saved me was the parlays, Purdue actually dominated the game with Northern Iowa but didn’t cover. This is why teasers and parlays can be a real asset at times as long as the player doesn’t become reliant on them.
One thing I have mentioned before and I would highly recommend to players is the importance of line shopping. Beating the closing line is incredibly important in wagering and having a few good sports books is an absolute must because it gives you the ability to shop lines and find the best value. Even a player who is only wagering 20-100$ dollars a wager like I am doing on my 600$ bankroll needs to line shop, saving a a few dollars may not seem like much on one wager but after a weeks worth of wagering it really adds up.
I actually used a line service in the past and there are some quite affordable ones out there. Most recreational players are not chasing steam or betting solely based on line moves but a line service is definitely worth it just for the sake of line shopping. But enough of that, lets look at some games today and try and win some money.
I plan on wagering four straight wagers today and one parlay. Two early games I like are Kansas and Oklahoma state. Kansas is up against Summit league champions North Dakota State, a high scoring team made up of four starting seniors. The North Dakota State Bison are from a small state and recruit heavily from Minnesota, and certainly have more experience than the Jayhawks. Kansas lost most of its starters last year with the exception of Sherron Collins. This is still an extremely tough Jayhawks squad and should have no problem with a team like North Dakota which has maybe played only two truly top notch teams this year.
Another team that stands out to me is Florida State. This is one of the most talented teams in the nation that really has flown under the radar this year, but really came to peoples attention during the ACC tournament with its shocking upset of UNC. Bo Ryan has led the Wisconsin Badgers to a surprisingly good year and they are certainly a top notch defensive big ten team. I just feel like yesterdays Texas AandM game and the LSU game ,the team with the superior athleticism will triumph. I am going to go with the Seminoles in this one.
Another team to check out today is West Virginia, this is one of the hottest teams in the nation right now and like Louisville, I wouldn’t be the least surprised to see the Mountaineers go far in the tournament.
I love my parlay today, Wake Forest, Kansas and West Virginia should win pretty easily in my opinion.

Note 6:06 PM -I am 1-1 today but I am down after west virginia plays a miserable game and is out of the tournament. I am going to increase my nightly wagers, I really like the night games so we will see how the night unfolds.
