MATCH: Reggina – Chievo

REGGINA:
The team is under a lot of pressure. They have not won in their last 6, the new manager (mr. Pillon) is still experimenting to find the right module: this match the most talented player Cozza will play behind the forwards, a sign that Reggina and Pillon want to use all the weapons and try to win this match.

Reggina look in trouble if we consider the home results: only 2 wins in 9 matches… but against the same-level teams we can see that they arrange to score at least 2 goals per match, not bad.

Team news: defender Santos will miss the game.

CHIEVO
Chievo do need to worry too about relegation, they sit with the same points of Reggina, with a need of 6 points to avoid relegation

They did do ok at Naples, scoring 2 goals and managed to win 2-1, but they dont like cross balls, corners and set plays in general and although hes had some good games this season the keeper does come up with some unbelievable blunders at times. The coach will be able to count on full squad for this match but that will not be a big help in this match.
In my opinion Di Carlo is not a fine manager and his job for this year is just to reach the end of the season, a new manager will be ready to take his place.

Team news: the new player (forward) Makinwa will start from the bench.

Head to Head: the last Reggina – Chievo, season 2007/2008,  ended 1-1

VERDICT:
Chievo lacks of goal action, while Reggina seems another team comparing to its away matches: it scores 1 – 2 goals per match.
The manager Pillon has a lot to work rebuilding the team’s confidence, a bit low, but they will face a team affordable, that away from home is even more vulnerable.
Reggina for the braves, Reggina or draw for the prudents.
